Windows Systems Administrator (Domain Administrator)Job Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, first couple of weeks will be in-office, after that it will be hybrid) Job Duration: 2+ Months Hours: 35 hours per week DutiesUpgrade Client's Active Directory domain from Windows Server 2019 (EOL: Jan 9, 2029) to Windows Server 2025Use VMWare resources to create 5 new Domain Controllers to replace older serversConduct thorough testing in Dev environment prior to Production upgradeManage Forest upgrade, FSMO role transfer, Kerberos, CA certificate, and Windows DNSApply strong Active Directory skills (Group Policy creation/maintenance, OU and Domain management)Collaborate effectively with ITS professionals during project executionRequired Skills & ExperienceExpertise: Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025Active Directory: Group Policy, OU/Domain management, upgradesPast Experience: Domain upgrades including Forest, FSMO, Kerberos, CA, DNSMinimum Experience: 5+ years managing Active Directory Domain for mid?to?large organizationsTools Knowledge: Ansible and Jenkins (helpful, not mandatory)Collaboration: Ability to work well with other ITS professionalsScripting: Ability to write custom scripts and create Group Policy Objects (GPOs)Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant disciplinePreferred QualificationsPrior Domain Upgrade project experienceStrong problem?solving and troubleshooting skills in enterprise environmentsMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
