Underwriting Associate

Responsibilities Review and underwrite R&W opportunities under supervision. Assist in file completion, background checks and policy issuance. Conduct due diligence to analyze the risk to be insured, including: (i) reviewing asset and merger agreements, disclosure schedules, data room materials, and financial and operational records of prospective insureds;

• ii) taking notes during underwriting calls with the proposed insured and their advisors to discuss the risk;
• iii) preparing the conference call agenda.

Engage in marketing efforts with senior and junior Ambridge colleagues.
