Job Summary: Full-Time Medical Assistant - Allergy at our Encinitas Office. The Allergy Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required. Allergy experience is required.

Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday within operating hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Open flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant required; experience in an allergy practice preferred
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• CPR and AED Certifications required.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
• Experience with allergy testing (skin prick, patch, and spirometry) preferred
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent patient relations and customer services skills
• Strong follow up stills and ownership/accountability
• Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee
• Open availability to work during office and/or scheduled hours
• Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Hourly Pay Range: $23 - $28.75
