Opportunity Details Medicus has partnered with a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, with an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage. Opportunity Overview Level I Trauma Center Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), specific dates Daily Admissions per Provider: ~1-4 Annual Volume: ~150 heart cases Duties: Hospital rounds on CTS patients, OP and IP consults, OR coverage for cardiac surgery, and some thoracic trauma Procedures Required: Standard cardiac surgery, heart cases, ECMO cannulation, aortic dissections, and CABG Support Staff: PAs, NPs, RNs, and scrub techs EMR: Epic Must be board-certified ACLS, BLS, & DEA preferred Paid travel & expenses Benefits Gain access to leading hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide.
