Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time

La Jolla Post-Acute | La Jolla, CA

La Jolla Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to residents, monitor their health conditions, and work closely with the healthcare team to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.

• Assess residents' health conditions and monitor changes in their status.

• Develop, implement, and update resident care plans as needed.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.

• Supervise and support Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), as applicable.

• Report changes in residents' conditions to physicians and other appropriate healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

• Coordinate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care.

• Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Ensure residents' rights, dignity, and privacy are respected.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in residents' medical conditions.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Current, active, and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Current CPR certification, as required.

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Knowledge of nursing standards, resident rights, and applicable healthcare regulations.
