Bilingual Teller Retail Banker

Job Description Woodforest National Bank is looking for a Retail Banker to engage customers, promote and sell products, and maintain daily banking operations. The role requires on‑site, full‑time service in a branch setting and offers opportunities for advancement and employee ownership. Responsibilities Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers. Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance. Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines. Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training. Qualifications 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer‑service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of such experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree. Previous in‑store banking experience is preferred, but not required. Positive and engaging attitude. Fluent in English and Spanish. High school diploma or equivalent required. Full‑time availability. No supervisory responsibility. Little to no overnight travel; may cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles. Schedule & Location Full‑time Primary location: Texas – Houston Work address: 13301 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015 Travel: little to no overnight travel; occasional local travel up to 45 miles.
