Director Oncology Engagements and Above-Brand Strategy

AstraZeneca seeks a Director to lead oncology engagement initiatives and above-brand strategy across the US portfolio. The role involves developing external partnerships, managing cross-functional projects, and advancing patient outcomes through strategic alignment with internal teams and healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of oncology engagements and supplier partnerships to improve patient outcomes and access
• Develop portfolio strategy by assessing business needs, recommending service opportunities, and managing project delivery
• Lead cross-functional alignment and manage multiple simultaneous workstreams across oncology priorities and brands
• Manage budgets and strategic initiatives while coordinating with US and Global Oncology teams and external stakeholders
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Access Strategy, and Field Teams to determine AstraZeneca oncology priorities

Requirements

• 5+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
• 3+ years oncology-specific experience across brands and tumor types
• Project management and contracting experience with payers, GPOs, or institutions
• Demonstrated leadership ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
• Strategic planning capabilities with budget management and governance experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in matrix environments

Compensation: $186,000–$279,000 base
