This role is perfect for someone with strong kitchen experience, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering great guest experiences through food.As a CulinaryLeadyou'll be overseeing a team of line cooks in a central culinary facility to prepare food to be served in multiple restaurants in the park as well as for picnics & special event functions, which consist of group sizes of up to 1000+.Follow recipes for food to be packaged, distributed, and sold in the park.Follow recipes for food to be served at picnics & special event functions.Monitor portioncontrol and waste.Ensureall equipment is being used in a safe and proper manner.Ensure all staff isfollowing safe food handling practices.Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout each shift, which includes cleaning equipment, tables, floors, washing dishes, discarding trash, etc.Perform other duties as assigned.Address all safety concerns to management as soon as they arise.Knowledge of all emergency proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have reliable transportationAbility to speak Spanish is helpfulGood communicationskills, including reading, writing and speakingMust be able to delegate, follow up, and train kitchen staffMust be able to redirect and discipline kitchen staffMust have full availability, including weekends and holidaysMust have the following abilities to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions:Must be able to comprehendand communicate effectivelyAbility to lift objects weighing up to 60 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulders, and walking over wet floorsAbility to work in a range of varied temperaturesHandling cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to follow written and oral instructionsProblem solving with minimal supervisionAbility to solve basic math functionsOrganizing and prioritizing to meet deadlinesOffers of employment may be contingent upon passing a drug screening test and/or criminal background check
