Pastry Cook

We are seeking a Pastry Cook to support daily kitchen operations with a focus on
producing pastries and fruit preserves (i.e., jam). This role is ideal for a hands-on cook who loves
working with fruit, dough, and seasonal ingredients, and who thrives in a small, collaborative
environment. This role reports to a Kitchen Manager.

Key Responsibilities
● Prep, assemble, and bake pastries (e.g. pies, hand pies, cookies, or similar)
● Produce small-batch jams, preserves, and fruit-forward items
● Maintain consistency across all baked and cooked products
● Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards

Qualifications
● Experience in a professional kitchen, bakery, or pastry setting
● Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
● Passion for high-quality ingredients and thoughtful food

Compensation
● Pay range: hourly rate of $20-35 (based on experience)
● Immediate start with potential to extend
● Schedule to be determined based on production needs
● Competitive hourly or salaried compensation, commensurate with experience
