Medical Laboratory Technologist

Medical Laboratory Technician MLT/ScientistWe are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician MLT/Scientist to join our team! You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.Responsibilities:Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patientsPrepare samples for routine testing and analysisProperly record results for further analysis and easy referenceMonitor inventory samples and suppliesMaintain a clean work environmentWork under the supervision of a medical technologistQualifications:Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fieldsFamiliarity with common medical terminologyExperience in a laboratory settingStrong organizational skillsMust be ASCP certifiedDegree or enough science credits to qualify for ASCP (Copy of degree or transcripts)Copy of MLT Certification by an approved organization such as the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT) or National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCA). Copy of degree or transcriptsBLS (American Heart Association approved) (If you do not have this initially you can still be accepted)FLU shot within a year (If you do not have this initially you can still be accepted)Pay rate $32/hr plus benefits such as paid holiday, 80 hours of vacation, 56 hours of such, health dental and vision options, as well as short/long term disability and life insurance. We also offer $1000 sign on bonus after working first 30 days. Compensation: $32.00 per hour
