Maintenance Manager

$140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Medical + Dental + Vision + 401k Match + Vacation Days + PTO Are you a maintenance leader from an industrial or heavy equipment background looking to take a step up, having managers reporting into you? Are you looking for full ownership of the maintenance and reliability side of a highly specialized operation? On offer is the opportunity to step up another level of management, leading a total group of 20, including other management staff, planners and technicians. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance and reliability systems, with a high degree of autonomy. This Charlotte based industry leader in manufacturing is expanding, with plans of new departments and facilities, they are looking to the future. They are looking to build a long-term reliability programme that will move them forward into the next evolution in manufacturing maintenance. In this role you will lead the maintenance teams and drive the shift from reactive maintenance to reliability, owning priorities, KPIs, and key equipment installation projects within a heavy manufacturing environment. You will be working in a hands‑on environment leading the team from the plant floor. You will be a maintenance leader from a manufacturing with experience in industrial or heavy equipment, that wants to develop a maintenance department and wants the responsibility and autonomy to put their stamp on a department, leading from the front to help shape the future of the plant. The Role: Leading and developing a maintenance department with managers, technicians and planners. Department ownership, training and developing your own team as well as building a preventive programme and driving reliability. Working in collaboration with leadership from across the plant. The Candidate: Maintenance or engineering manager from a manufacturing environment. Hands‑on leadership experience developing maintenance systems and improving a department.
