Mechanical Engineer

Payrate: $36.00- $37.00/hr.


Position's Contributions to Work Group:

• Executing key project tasks to support the component design engineer
• Key point of contact for print work (detailing & releasing) and CAD design work
• Supporting new component design with APQP collaboration work with external suppliers
• Helping to ensure customer success by correcting product problems

Typical task breakdown:

• Print work, component modeling, APQP, TFC, tolerance stack-up, deviation investigation, parts inspection, etc.

Education & Experience Required:

• Years of experience: 0-4 years
• Degree requirement: Engineering or Engineering Technology; Bachelor's required; Master's considered
• Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes; 1 year minimum

• Large gas and/or diesel troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency working with computers and on a computer system. Software programs used frequently include, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Creo, Team Center

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $36.00 - $37.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
