Experienced PCA/CNA

Position Summary:

The Palmetto Family is looking to hire experienced and skilled CNA/PCAs to provide care and companionship to a kind, engaging, and energetic woman with Parkinson's Disease. Assistance with all aspects of daily living (ADLs) is required.

As a member of the Palmetto Care Team, you will: (but not limited to…)

Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Assistance with meal planning and preparation, or meal delivery coordination.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment (e.g., light cleaning, laundry).
Offer engaging conversation and social interaction.
Monitor client's overall well-being and safety.

Requirements:

Prior patient care or caregiving experience particularly with Dementia or Neurological Disorders is preferred but not required—We Offer Training!
Reliable means of communication & transportation is a must.
Ability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving safely.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
A kind and compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
