Production Operator

Our client, in Swanton VT, is seeking operators to join their team. As an operator, you will assist the production line in the completion of projects. Job Title Production Operator Location St. Albans VT Pay Range $20.00 an hour Hours 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am Job Description Perform assigned duties on production lines including the set-up, operation, tear-down and cleaning of equipment and completion of applicable documentation. Perform job functions in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Ensure compliance with SOP, FDA regulations and CGMP. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Visually inspect the product during operation, observe equipment and process for proper operation, seek maintenance assistance for problems and recommend improvements. Set up and run Production equipment. Assist with process/product specific cleaning activities for lines and equipment as required and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored to include samples and waste containers/bags. Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets. Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation under the guidance of the supervisor. Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc. as instructed. Perform daily house-keeping (cleaning, organizing, stocking) activities to support and run readiness for production lines. Perform post run reconciliation and waste-handling activities. Place materials and/or processing aids on/in roll stands, cabinets, and/or equipment. Prepare components and/or processing aids for introduction to the process. Assist with check-in and returns of material for batch runs. Perform other duties as assigned.
