Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Support study setup for necropsy and histology activities in GLP and non-GLP studies.
- Assist with necropsy and histology procedures following study protocols and SOPs.
- Collect, handle, process, and submit tissue specimens while maintaining proper documentation and chain of custody.
- Ensure proper use and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspace.
- Maintain traceability of laboratory work and specimens.
- Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory managers, and pathology teams to support ongoing studies.
- Follow GLP regulations, SOPs, laboratory safety practices, PPE requirements, and EHS standards.
- Identify, document, and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma with 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience or
- Associate's Degree with 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in a GLP laboratory environment is preferred.
- Educational background in Histology, Animal Science, Biology, or a related life science discipline is preferred.
