Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Support study setup for necropsy and histology activities in GLP and non-GLP studies.
• Assist with necropsy and histology procedures following study protocols and SOPs.
• Collect, handle, process, and submit tissue specimens while maintaining proper documentation and chain of custody.
• Ensure proper use and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Maintain traceability of laboratory work and specimens.
• Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory managers, and pathology teams to support ongoing studies.
• Follow GLP regulations, SOPs, laboratory safety practices, PPE requirements, and EHS standards.
• Identify, document, and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma with 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience or
• Associate's Degree with 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a GLP laboratory environment is preferred.
• Educational background in Histology, Animal Science, Biology, or a related life science discipline is preferred.
