Executive Assistant to the Dean
Provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Dean of the Joint School of Public Health at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University. This position serves as the primary liaison between the Dean and internal and external stakeholders and manages communications for the Dean's Office. The role requires a high degree of discretion, sound judgment, independent evaluation and analysis, and the ability to manage complex and confidential matters in a fast-paced academic environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to executive-level leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
