Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. The therapist will educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and perform other patient care duties. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients, utilizing clinical reasoning for developing appropriate treatment plans and goals. Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision and feedback. Create and actively pursue an individualized professional development plan. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards and discipline‑specific practices. Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to enhance service quality. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active and applicable license for the state in which services will be performed. Prior experience with the agency is highly desired.
