Entry Level Korean Speaking Legal Assistant/Assistant Case Manager

Dross Berman LLC is seeking an entry-level Korean-speaking Legal Assistant to join our dedicated team. This position offers a valuable learning experience in a boutique law firm specializing in personal injury cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys.
• Assist with case management by organizing and maintaining files, including client documents, medical records, and other evidence.
• Communicating with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Interpret and translate legal documents, conversations, and meetings between Korean speaking clients and attorneys.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Korean, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal research tools.
• Professional demeanor, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a related legal support role is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with personal injury law or a genuine interest in this area of practice.
