AAA Roadside Assistance Driver

Overview AAA Oklahoma City seeks full‑time Mobile Battery Technicians for our Roadside Assistance team. Candidates must be dependable, empathetic, and willing to work outside in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Provide lock‑out, fuel delivery, battery jump‑starts, and tire change services. Sell and install car batteries (Mobile Battery position only). Communicate effectively with members to keep them informed and ensure safety. Enter call information accurately using in‑truck technology, process payments, handle cash and complete reports. Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating condition and proper security. Participate in special events promoting the AAA brand. Qualifications At least 21 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license for the state of residence and all required state/local licensing requirements. Pass a physical examination, drug test, and motor vehicle screening. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive or mechanical environment, or a technical school, or at least 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and push vehicles; use hand tools. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and via email and GPS technology. Successful completion of required departmental training within 60 days of hire. Benefits Base rate of $20.25/hour with shift differential (10% for 2nd shift) and overtime during peak season. Monthly bonus potential. Paid time off: 3 weeks accrued during the first year, plus paid holidays (8). 401(k) plan with company match up to 6%.
