Schedule Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Description The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with speech, language, and cognitive disorders. You will work closely with a team of therapy professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients with dysphagia and cognitive impairments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform bedside swallow evaluations and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS). Utilize equipment such as VITAL STIM and BIONESS for treatment interventions. Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to coordinate patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a valid Georgia SLP license. Experience in dysphagia assessment and treatment is required. Knowledge of cognitive assessment and treatment is essential. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred. Experience with stroke rehabilitation is a plus.
