Responsibilities As part of our paid training program, you will learn to: Successfully complete our CDL School Bus Driver Training Program Obtain your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Safely transport students to and from school and educational programs Learn assigned routes, schedules, and student pickup/drop‑off procedures Perform required pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections Maintain a safe, positive, and professional environment on the bus Communicate effectively with parents, school personnel, dispatchers, and fellow team members Complete required transportation documentation accurately Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations Weekly classroom & field training is mandatory. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Valid New Jersey Driver’s License Clean driving record Ability to pass a criminal background investigation, a drug screening, a DOT physical examination, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review Strong attendance and punctuality Excellent communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and student care Previous experience working with children, education, healthcare, transportation, customer service, or caregiving is a plus—but not required.
