Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut's leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Job Summary

The Dietitian is responsible for the direct and indirect nutrition care of clients. Assists in the coordination of nutrition activities with the medical, nursing and dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
• CT Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist License required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nutrition experience with behavioral health clients preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.
• Computer proficiency required.
