Shipping ClerkThe primary responsibilities for the Shipping Clerk are to schedule and ship product to customers on time. This role also collaborates with Manufacturing, Production and Project Managers to ensure shipments are on track to ship out on time. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.Analyze ship sheet/WIP and identify any discrepancies.Schedule FTL and LTL loads accordingly.Ensure product to be shipped is inspected for current content according to WIP and Monarch.Transact material in Monarch.Work with material handler(s) to pack, wrap, and stage materials.Help load trucks and ensure BOL and shipping documents are signed.Ensure jobs are marked shipped and that all freight charges are entered in Monarch.Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent1-2 years of customer service experience1-2 years of warehouse experienceBasic math and reading skillsAbility to multitaskStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDetail-orientedPrevious experience with MS Office applications and MRP/ERP applicationsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must be able to regularly push and pull loads using a pallet jack. The employee may be exposed to minimal chemical smells and paper dust. The employee must be prepared to respond to emergencies should they occur. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
