Growing together.The Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Primary Care/Internal Medicine) is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30am-5pm EST. Schedule to be determined by manager upon hire.Location: 307 W. Main St. Kent, OH. Training and coverage may be required at Tallmadge location (116 East Ave, Ste 3, Tallmadge, OH 44278), depending on business need.Primary Responsibilities:Taking messages for providers, handling forms: FMLA/Disability/BMVCollecting copays and patient balances that are due at time of check inRequesting records and retrieving records from offices/hospitalsPrepping charts, scanning documentsVerifies patient insurance coverage and eligibility utilizing computer-based patient registration / scheduling systemDocuments appropriate information in patient's charts using an electronic medical records systemCompletes and maintains physician's schedules, coordinating patient visits and medical proceduresEnsure patient insurance information through EMR systemWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
