Associate Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3+ years of experience in litigation and trial preparation, eager to apply their skills in a dynamic legal environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside seasoned attorneys, gaining exposure to various aspects of civil litigation and corporate law. Duties Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants on transactional and real estate matters. Draft and prepare contracts, lease agreements, and real estate documents. Assist with drafting and reviewing real estate transactional documents and supporting homeowner association matters. Support business clients with entity formation, mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence. Review, analyze, and revise contracts and legal documents for accuracy and compliance. Prepare evidence and documents for trial in collaboration with litigation attorneys. Requirements One to three plus years of experience in the legal field. Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent negotiation skills. Effective collaboration with corporate professionals. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Education A law degree from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Actively licensed in Missouri. Skills Strong analytical and multitasking abilities. Superior communication and negotiation skills.
