Maintenance Sales Representative

We're growing and looking for an assertive, self-motivated sales professional to join our Minneapolis-area team as a Maintenance Sales Representative. This is a true new-business development role for someone who is energized by prospecting, opening doors, and building a sales territory from the ground up.

Success in this position requires a proactive approach to business development, strong initiative, and a commitment to consistent daily prospecting. You will spend significant time cold calling, visiting businesses, knocking on doors, networking, and creating new opportunities throughout your assigned territory.

You'll receive a designated territory, comprehensive training (no industry experience required), and an uncapped commission structure, along with the support of an established brand and experienced service team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

• Persistently, prospect and develop new business throughout your assigned territory.
• Maintain a high level of daily cold calling and outbound sales activity.
• Identify and connect with key decision-makers through phone calls, site visits, networking, referrals, and other prospecting methods.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in commercial and industrial markets.

Consultative Sales & Solutions

• Promote and sell HVAC, plumbing, millwright, and docks and doors maintenance service agreements.
• Conduct site visits and facility assessments to develop solutions tailored to each customer's needs.
• Prepare and present proposals, overcome objections, and close new business.

Customer & Service Team Partnership

• Collaborate with service teams to ensure excellent delivery and customer satisfaction.

Sales Performance & Accountability

• Accurately track prospecting activity, opportunities, and performance using CRM tools.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales activity and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Experience in sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills
• Self- motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Customer focused mindset
• Maintain access to a safe, reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for travel to customer sites throughout the assigned territory.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $75,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
