Senior Process Manufacturing EngineerThe primary responsibilities include leading and developing our current and future manufacturing processes by coordinating the engineering activities in support of the organizations manufacturing engineering needs. This position will play an instrumental role in support of our Continuous Improvement program, product cost reduction programs and our in-house ME testing lab.The Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer position will be responsible for delivering assigned responsibilities/projects on time and will also support the mentoring/training of fellow engineering staff in the proper application of advanced engineering concepts and techniques.What You'll Do as a Senior Process Manufacturing EngineerProvide senior-level technical support, training and guidance for all assigned engineering projectsSupport and provide expert guidance and training for fellow engineers and peersProvide technical support to all manufacturing departments and assigned new-product development projectsWrite, and or, update work instructions/part specifications, validation protocols, test reports, routine engineering reports, proofread and update technical documents (ECOs, MPs, QCs, rework instruction and cost)Interface with Internal and external resources in the review of the design changes and product line enhancementsEngineering Project Management: develop/plan, manage and lead assigned engineering projects (cost savings/continuous improvement projects)Perform detailed engineering assessments including, Process Capability (CPK), line layouts and line rebalancing initiatives, flow optimization and automation projectsSupport the organization growth initiatives and actively participate in the new product line introductionsActively participate in the organizations Operational Excellence program and provide the training and guidance required to support our associates' growth in the understanding and application of Lean improvement processAnalyze and review current requirements, workflow, design layout of equipment, and workspace for maximum efficiencyShare in the coordination of the development and control of the company capital expense budgetsThe Experience, Abilities, and Skills Required5 years of engineering experience AND a Bachelor's Degree in engineeringA Master's Degree in engineering is preferredPay range for this opportunity is $107,525.00 - $139,150.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
