Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active and valid SLP license issued by the state of Michigan
• Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary-age children, is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with student needs and IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success
• Adapt and modify therapy approaches as needed, depending on each child’s learning style and progress
• Provide support and consultation to staff regarding speech and language issues
• Effectively manage a diverse caseload while maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines

This role offers a workweek of 37.5 hours, with an anticipated start date of November 30, 2026, and an end date of February 26, 2027 (subject to change based on coverage needs).
