ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

We are a well‑established hospital located in the North Shore of Long Island, NY. We are an AAHA Accredited Hospital, and we are looking to expand our services. We are seeking a veterinarian who not only has compassion for animals, but also understands the human‑animal bond, and cares about the needs of pet owners as well. Our hospital provides a supportive environment where our doctors can practice high quality modern medicine. Our doctors have access to in‑house and reference labs, digital x‑ray (including dental), cold therapy laser, and ultrasound. We have three licensed technicians to help our doctors, and we have a 4.1 ratio of team member to doctor. Our F/T benefits include: Salary starting at $145,000 depending on experience Health & Vision Insurance Paid liability insurance 401k retirement plan with matching Paid CE Discount for employee‑owned pets Paid state license and AVMA membership Paid DEA license VIN membership Our hospital is open Monday through Saturday with no after‑hours requirements. We have monthly team meetings to promote good communication within our team. 2‑3 years of experience is preferred, but we encourage new graduates to apply.
