Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for student success nationwide, Therapy Source is actively seeking dedicated a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person services to charter school students. This position is for the upcoming school year.

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Position Details:

• $35-$42 per hour
• Full-time opportunities available (typically MondayFriday, 8:45 AM3:30 PM)
• K12 school-based caseloads
• Must meet Florida SLPA registration/requirements to work as an SLPA
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain required school clearances/background (or already active)
• Must have individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Must have ability to work under the supervision of a Florida-licensed SLP (as required)
• Provide speech-language services as delegated by the supervising SLP and aligned with IEPs
• Implement treatment activities and document student performance/progress
• Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
• Collaborate with school staff as directed, and communicate updates to the supervising SLP
• Participate in meetings/trainings as required for the assignment (within role scope)
