Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant in Greer, SC to support financial operations and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, collaborate with leadership, and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. Responsibilities: Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding verification, approvals, and payment processing Oversee customer billing activities, post payments, investigate discrepancies, and support collections efforts for outstanding balances Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracy Reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting subledgers Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review Support internal controls, compliance initiatives, and financial documentation processes Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors regarding year-end reporting and tax-related matters Develop ad hoc financial, operational, and administrative reports as needed Participate in process improvements, special projects, and other initiatives that support business growth Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy #J-18808-Ljbffr Find Great People | FGP
