Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Rotating Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Fairfield, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various rotating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs and overhauls on various types of rotating machinery.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment is operating within specifications.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate work schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a rotating equipment mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
