Mobile Diesel Mechanic

RAPID TRUCK REPAIR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Diesel Mechanic to provide expert onsite repair and maintenance services for a variety of heavy-duty vehicles including Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, and Peterbilt. This role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you will operate independently, responding to both scheduled maintenance and emergency calls around the clock. Pay : $35-$38 per hour

Responsibilities

Perform on-site repairs and maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
Conduct thorough DOT inspections and ensure compliance
Provide tire services including repair and replacement
Respond promptly to emergency repair calls
Document all repairs and inspections accurately
Maintain vehicles to ensure operational safety and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience as a diesel mechanic
Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines consistently

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Experience with diesel engine repair and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance
Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance
Proficiency in mechanical diagnostics and tire services
Strong time management skills
Customer service experience
