Sr. Product Specialist

About the Role:
Dashing Diva is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sr. Product Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in driving innovation and excellence in product design and development for our growing beauty and nail care brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for trend forecasting, design conceptualization, and market research, with a keen ability to translate data into compelling product offerings. Experience working with factories and vendors in fashion, beauty, and/or cosmetics is required.

What You Will Do :
Trend and Design Research:

• Conduct in-depth research to identify and analyze current and emerging trends in the beauty and nail industry.
• Stay informed about consumer preferences, competitors, and industry innovations to inspire new product ideas.

Design Story Development:

• Develop cohesive design stories based on trend predictions and market research.
• Create visual and written narratives to guide product development and ensure alignment with brand identity.

Nail Design Creation and Presentation:

• Design creative and innovative nail patterns and styles that reflect the latest trends.
• Produce physical or digital nail boards to showcase design concepts and support internal and external presentations.

Market and Data Analysis:

• Analyze market trends, sales data, and consumer insights to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product strategies align with market demands and business objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product development, design, or a related role (experience in the beauty or fashion industry preferred).
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends and interpret data.
• Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics and details.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of project workflows and effective cross-functional and external partner communication
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Creative mindset with a sharp eye for trends, innovation, and attention to detail
• Proactive approach, skilled at anticipating needs and taking initiative in job responsibilities
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with beauty, skincare, CPG, or retail
• Exposure to Retail sales channels
• Comfort navigating Nielsen and/or Tableau

Compensation Range: $65,000-$85,000
