FusionSite is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a sales territory throughout Denver, CO. This is a true field-based sales role requiring a proven track record of prospecting, developing new business, and closing sales through face-to-face customer interactions.

\n

The ideal candidate has several years of outside sales experience, enjoys spending the majority of the workweek meeting customers on job sites and at their businesses, and is motivated by building long-term relationships while consistently achieving sales goals. What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Business Development (Primary Responsibility): Spend the majority of your week actively prospecting within your assigned territory through cold calling, walk-ins, networking, referrals, and job site visits. Develop new customer relationships, identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, prepare proposals, and consistently close new business.
\n
• Territory Management: Manage and grow an assigned sales territory by developing strategic relationships with contractors, project managers, property managers, industrial clients, and event organizations. Build a strong pipeline of opportunities while maintaining regular customer contact.
\n
• Relationship Management: Develop long-term partnerships with new and existing customers through regular communication, face-to-face meetings, job site visits, and exceptional customer service.
\n
• Sales Strategy: Identify customer needs, present customized solutions, negotiate pricing, prepare proposals, maintain an active CRM pipeline, and consistently work toward monthly and annual sales goals.

• Customer Experience & Quality Assurance: Conduct customer site visits and perform basic QA/QC inspections of portable sanitation equipment to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and customer satisfaction. Partner closely with Operations to communicate service needs and maintain FusionSite's quality standards.

• Sales Administration: Maintain accurate CRM records, document customer interactions, prepare sales forecasts, manage your territory pipeline, and participate in networking events, trade organizations, and local business development opportunities.

• Has 5+ years of outside (field) sales experience with a proven history of generating new business.
\n
• Enjoys spending most of the workweek in the field meeting customers rather than working from an office.
\n
• Has experience independently managing a geographic sales territory.
\n
• Is comfortable cold calling, networking, and visiting construction sites and businesses to generate new opportunities.
\n
• Is motivated by commission and enjoys exceeding sales goals.
\n
• Excels at building long-term customer relationships.
\n
• Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Minimum of five (5) years of outside/field sales experience required.
\n
• Demonstrated success generating new business through prospecting and face-to-face selling.
\n
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
\n
• Experience independently managing a geographic sales territory.
\n
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Strong negotiation, closing, and consultative selling abilities.
\n
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
\n
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
\n
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
\n
• Experience selling into the construction, industrial services, equipment rental, portable sanitation, waste management, or related industries.
\n
• Experience working with contractors, construction firms, municipalities, or industrial customers.
\n
• Existing network within Colorado construction or industrial market is a plus.
\n

Travel & Physical Requirements

\n

\n
• Spend approximately 70–90% of the workweek in the field visiting customers, prospecting new accounts, attending job sites, and developing business throughout the assigned territory.
\n
• Comfortable working outdoors and navigating active construction sites.
\n
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
\n
• Ability to sit for extended periods while completing administrative work.
\n

Please Note

\n

This is not an inside sales position. This role requires frequent travel throughout the greater Denver area, face-to-face customer meetings, cold prospecting, networking, job site visits, and business development. Applicants should have prior experience succeeding in a field-based outside sales role and be comfortable spending most of their workweek outside of the office.
