Mortgage Sales Manager

A Mortgage Area Sales Manager leads the sales efforts of a mortgage production group by recruiting qualified candidates, establishing production goals and monitoring performance ensuring that individual and group loan production standards are met. In this Role You Will Recruit and recommend qualified and high-performing mortgage loan originator (Home Loan Advisors) candidates for employment and ensure efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment practices, working with the Human Resources recruitment department Set acceptable production goals that meet or exceed the Bank's minimum standards. Coach and mentor performance ensuring that individual and group production goals are met and adhere to all First Bank policies and guidelines. Work with loan production staff to ensure knowledge and understanding of all loan products and the underwriting criteria required for each area and ensure that First Bank loan pricing guidelines and standards are followed Travel on a frequent basis to locations other than assigned branch/location Provide input into group goals and annual budget. To ensure the budget is met, monitor and approve expenses within the policies set forth by First Bank Work closely with First Bank retail branch personnel to cross-sell products and services as opportunity arises Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems Qualifications, Competencies And Skills Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in finance or a related field A minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to drive a car or obtain other reliable transportation is required At least two years of previous management/supervisory experience in coaching mortgage loan sales performance is preferred About Us Be a part of a growing company that is truly committed to its employees and clients.
