Why You'll Love This Opportunity Monday Friday schedule No nights or weekend call Telehealth-focused outpatient practice Excellent work-life balance Opportunity to serve a diverse, bilingual community NHSC-approved practice site Eligible for federal and state student loan repayment programs Stable, mission-driven organization Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Position Highlights Outpatient primary care delivered through telehealth Based out of the Pasadena clinic Care for patients across the lifespan Average daily patient volume of patients Preventive care and chronic disease management Collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team Modern technology and established clinical workflows Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and telehealth evaluations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based care Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with California regulations Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and other common primary care conditions Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, behavioral health providers, and support staff Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program Current California Family Nurse Practitioner license Active, unrestricted DEA registration Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience (clinical rotations do not satisfy this requirement) Fluent in English and Spanish , with the ability to independently conduct complete patient assessments without an interpreter Strong communication and patient relationship skills Preferred Experience in community health, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), or telehealth Passion for serving diverse and underserved patient populations Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation: $80 $90 per hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance Comprehensive malpractice insurance, including nose and tail coverage Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Paid CME time plus CME stipend 403(b) retirement plan Federal and state loan repayment eligibility NHSC-approved practice site Career growth and advancement opportunities About Pasadena, California Nestled at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, Pasadena offers the perfect blend of historic charm, cultural attractions, and modern city living.
