Tier 2 Systems Engineer

Salary: $55,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• We need someone with 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in an MSP or other multi-client setting where priorities shift quickly.
• We need strong troubleshooting ability across Windows and macOS, Microsoft 365, common business applications, user administration, password resets, printers, and workstation support.
• We need practical knowledge of basic networking, including VPN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and general network diagnostics.
• We need experience supporting Active Directory user and computer administration.
• We need comfort setting up, deploying, and supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other business technology.
• We need someone who is local to Matthews, NC and able to work on-site every day, with the ability to travel to client locations as needed.

• We deliver technical support by phone, email, remote access, and onsite visits.
• We troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, networking, VPN, and workstation issues.
• We set up computers, onboard new employees, deploy hardware, and configure business technology.
• We manage our ticket queue, meet SLAs, and keep clients informed throughout the process.
• We determine when to solve issues independently and when to collaborate or escalate.
• We own issues from start to finish with clear communication and thorough documentation.
• We visit client offices to install equipment, resolve technical challenges, and represent our company professionally.
• We onboard new clients with minimal disruption and ensure each interaction creates a strong first impression.
• We continually improve client environments to align with our standards for performance, security, and reliability.
