Contract Administrator

Randstad is seeking a Contract Administrator for our national utilities client.

• Pay Rate: $33.00 – $34.45 per hour (W2)
• Location: Reno, Nevada (On-site)
• Contract Length: 1-year contract with potential for extension

About the Role Join a dedicated energy team in Reno, NV, where you will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and administering transmission area contracts. You’ll ensure smooth contract performance, handle invoice settlements, and support pre- and post-construction activities in an collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 2+ years of relevant work experience in contract administration or the energy industry.
• strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with standard office software (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).

Nice-to-haves:

• Hands-on experience using a Contract Management System (CMS).
• Direct exposure to energy industry contracts, utility operations, or construction support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Contract Lifecycle: Track contract compliance, resolve operational issues, and facilitate simple amendments like scope and timeline updates.
• Process Invoices & Settlements: Perform accounting settlement functions for material and service-related agreement invoices.
• Maintain Records & Data: Enter contract metadata into the system of record and organize confidential files used for regulatory hearings and litigation.
• Support Negotiations: Assist with negotiating transmission agreements and circulate template agreements for execution.
• Drive Process Improvement: Evaluate current business workflows and implement operational improvements to better serve internal teams.
