Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to support our Legal department in managing business and litigation needs. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in a law office, with knowledge of litigation processes, discovery, reviewing online dockets, and file organization. Corporate, civil litigation, or transactional law experience is a plus. While we are willing to train, we are looking for someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of new assignments. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): The Litigation Paralegal will provide legal support in both pre-litigation and active litigation matters, including discovery, document production, and case investigation. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining documents for responsiveness, managing subpoena matters, and supporting attorneys with drafting and proofreading legal documents. The role will interact with internal clients in a professional and empathetic manner, maintain organized and up-to-date files and databases, and assist with follow-up communications. Additional duties include managing billing and invoicing, coordinating office procedures, and providing general administrative support such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining supplies. What You’ll Bring (Requirements): Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, secretary, or similar clerical/legal support role (required). College degree or paralegal certificate preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; proficiency with Windows Pro 10/11, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and OneNote. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to keep documents error-free. Professional, dependable, and able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines without constant supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals. Ability to suggest solutions to problems and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
