Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro/Spine/ENT License: MO or Compact License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and Abdominal Organ transplant. Proficient in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, intrabdominal transplant. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The nurse will work 3 twelve-hour shifts, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The average daily census is between 20 to 28 patients. The operating room contains 17 rooms. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The nurse will be required to be on-call after the shift until 6:30 AM, with a possible requirement for weekend shifts. Response time for on-call duties is 45 minutes. The amount of call will depend on unit needs, with approximately 5 to 6 call shifts every 6 weeks. The nurse will provide breaks, lunches, or shift relief as needed. This facility utilizes EPIC for charting. Team members will float within their scope to meet facility needs. All travelers will float within the service line as needed.
