CNC Expertise: Develop programs for CNC machines, lathes, and milling.

Responsibilities

• Process Development: Plans and oversees the development of process flows, equipment requirements for quotes, and new product planning.

• Technical Operations: Develops programs for CNC machines (lathes, milling) and creates layouts and part priority sheets.

• Continuous Improvement: Implements lean manufacturing mindsets to minimize waste, manages corrective/preventative actions, and reduces product costs through innovation.

• Collaboration & Mentorship: Acts as a "subject matter" lead to foster a learning culture and works closely with purchasing, quality, sales, and operations departments.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintains a clean work area and adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act , including the use of required PPE like safety shoes and glasses.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• CNC Tooling (3 years of experience is required)
• Fanuc programming (3 years of experience is required)
• AutoCAD (3 years of experience is preferred)
• SolidWorks (1 year of experience is preferred)
• FMEA (2 years of experience is preferred)
• SPC (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Microsoft Excel (2 years of experience is required)
