Survey Crew Chief (5+ Years Experience) Location: North Jersey Job ID: LP85233 A well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm in North New Jersey is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations on a variety of land development, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily field survey operations Perform boundary, topographic, construction, ALTA/NSPS, and as-built surveys Operate and maintain GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors Interpret plans, deeds, plats, and control data Coordinate with office staff, engineers, and project managers Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements Train and mentor junior field staff as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief or Party Chief Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and field procedures Proficiency with GPS and robotic instrumentation Ability to read and interpret engineering and survey documents Valid driver’s license (NJ) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills NJ PLS license or path toward licensure is a plus What’s Offered Competitive salary based on experience Full benefits package (health, PTO, holidays, retirement options) Long-term stability with a respected regional firm Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects To apply, submit resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Joseph P.
