Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and subpoenas. Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings. Maintain and organize client files and legal records. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and documents. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and photocopying. Must be proficient in M-filing. Can type at least 65 words per minute. At least 3 years of litigation experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative training is a plus. Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role within a law firm. Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
