L&D Nurse Manager

We are seeking an engaged and visible L&D Manager for a hospital in the San Francisco Bay area. This permanent leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee the Labor and Delivery units with support from Assistant Nurse Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the L&D department.
Support and mentor the Assistant Nurse Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Champion quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance across all perioperative areas.
Lead department planning, budgeting, staffing, and development to support organizational goals and community needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Registered Nurse with an active CA RN license.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Masters degree preferred
Experience with 400+ deliveries per month
Minimum of 3-5 years of staff L&D experience and 2+ years of leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of unions and regulatory requirements.
Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams, building strong provider relationships, and driving measurable outcomes.
