Additional dutiesmay be assigned by supervisor. Job Description Typical duties include but are not limited to: Plans and teaches in assigned course(s). Prepare syllabi on time via Simple Syllabus Prepare instruction materials and coordinate lectures andtests. Provide professional mentoring to students. Use the Canvas teaching platform to manage courses, includingfor up-to-date attendance and grade records. Keeps abreast of new information and developments in field ofinstruction. Participates in institutional meetings. Contribute to course and/or curriculum development, ifapplicable. Function as an effective, active, and collegial teammember. Other duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: Master's degree in related field or eighteen (18+) graduatecredit hours from a regionally accredited institution. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Promote a common purpose consistent with stated Universitygoals, and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learningenvironment. Possess the knowledge of general written standards andprocedures, and have the ability to read, interpret, and followprocedural and policy manuals related to the job tasks. Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance,and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordancewith stated policies. Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming andsupportive environment. Present a professional image in word, action, and attire. Apply effective techniques to create working relationships withothers to achieve common goals; successfully communicate andcollaborate with others to achieve goals. Demonstrate skills necessary to look at situations andprocesses critically to make recommendations for improvement.
