Director, Technical Excellence - ADCs

Director, Technical Account Management (ADC / CMC) Become the trusted technical partner behind some of the industry's most innovative ADC development programmes. I'm supporting a rapidly growing biologics CDMO in the search for a Director, Technical Account Management to lead the technical relationship with one of their most strategic biotech clients. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep scientific expertise with strategic client leadership, acting as the technical owner across a portfolio of Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) development programmes. You'll work directly with senior client stakeholders, providing technical leadership from pre-clinical development through CMC, GMP manufacturing and into clinical development. Internally, you'll partner with Process Development, Analytical Development, Technical Operations, Quality, Regulatory CMC, Supply Chain and Project Management to ensure programmes remain on track, risks are identified early, and clients have complete confidence in delivery. This isn't a sales or commercial account management role. It's a highly influential scientific leadership position where you'll become a trusted advisor to both your client and the wider business, translating complex technical challenges into clear strategies and driving successful programme execution. We\'re looking for someone with: Significant experience leading ADC or bioconjugate CMC programmes through clinical development A strong background within biotech, biologics or a leading CDMO Expertise across CMC strategy, process development, analytical development, tech transfer and GMP manufacturing Experience working directly with biotech clients and leading complex technical discussions with senior stakeholders A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibility Why consider this opportunity?
