Job Summary

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex construction projects across the manufacturing, industrial, and power & energy sectors . Project values will range from $500,000 to $50 million , with responsibility for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within established budgets.

Working closely with project superintendents and key stakeholders, the Project Manager will have overall accountability for project execution, financial performance, client coordination, and successful project closeout

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safe work planning and partner with site safety leadership to identify, mitigate, and address potential hazards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and lead recurring owner coordination and project reporting meetings.
• Create and manage project plans and schedules, establish project objectives and performance expectations, and monitor adherence to requirements.
• Maintain effective and consistent communication between client representatives, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Manage project financial performance, including projections, invoicing, cash flow, profitability, self-perform costs, and subcontractor expenses, while maintaining budget control and identifying potential scope gaps.
• Ensure projects remain compliant with applicable labor agreements.
• Organize and facilitate weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Prepare, price, submit, and negotiate subcontract agreements and change orders.
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve project challenges to keep work aligned with approved plans and objectives.
• Coordinate and oversee project closeout activities to achieve a timely and high-quality project handover.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to lead teams and effectively manage and resolve conflicts.
• Self-directed leadership approach with demonstrated ability and interest in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
• Highly organized, with strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
• Ability to manage all facets of construction projects, including technical requirements, safety, scheduling, costs, and overall financial performance.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista
• Experience within the automotive sector is preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil construction is preferred but not required.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required. xhyhwjd
• 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial project management is required.
