The facility maintains established diagnostic capabilities and workflow management systems to support efficient specimen processing and timely diagnostic reporting. On-site, day-shift scheduling is structured to meet the operational demands of the pathology department. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will perform grossing procedures Monday through Friday across inpatient and outpatient settings, managing a daily case volume of 20-30 cases consisting of a mix of surgicals and biopsies. Case types include GU/kidney neoplastic and bladder, GYN, placenta, pulmonary/thoracic, breast benign, and GI surgicals and biopsies. Hematology, brain, and dermatology cases are excluded from this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens position.
