• Develop, validate, maintain, and optimize robotic programs and process parameters for automated grinding operations.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Support capital equipment and automation projects, including equipment specification, installation, commissioning, validation, and production startup.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and quality teams to support production goals and new product introductions.
• Develop technical documentation, work instructions, standards, and training materials while providing programming and process support to manufacturing teams.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in investment casting manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting ABB robotic systems using RAPID.

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience with robotic grinding, material removal processes, or automated finishing operations.
• Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic.
• Demonstrated success leading technical projects and delivering results.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• Strong understanding of robotic manufacturing processes, process development, automation, process control, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• The role may involve standing, walking, lifting moderate loads, and exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise, moving equipment, dust, vibration, and varying temperatures.
